The LG GW620 Android phone has landed in the UK, folks. LG announced the QWERTY Google mobile a few months back, but has just shown it off over here for the first time. We’ve got the snaps and the details for you, so keep reading for the full gallery.
We only got a quick preview of the LG GW620 Android phone, so we weren’t able to confirm some of the teased features such as face recognition, but from our brief face time we’ve found things to love and hate about the landscape slider with a five megapixel camera and 3-inch screen.
LG GW620 Android phone: official video leaks
As we suspected, the LG GW620 is running largely vanilla Android, so you won’t be able to get the same sort of impressive integration as HTC, Motorola and Sony Ericsson are promising with their custom skins. On the plus side though, we were wowed by the solid build and absolutely solid keyboard – we reckon it’ll be much better for hardcore emailers than the Milestone/Droid’s.
The LG GW620 Android phone is launching in the first quarter of next year, right about the same time as the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.
