HTC HD2UPDATE: Bang on Time, Vodafone’s started selling the HTC HD2. More details here!

Want your hands on the HTC HD2? Vodafone’s the place to nab it from tomorrow! A tipster just let us know the network will start selling HTC’s monster mobile ahead of T-Mobile in the morning.

The HTC HD2, packing a whopping 4.3 inch multitouch screen will hit Vodafone tomorrow, pipping rival networks as they scramble to line up the handset.

Our source gave us the nod this afternoon, telling us to expect Vodafone to begin flogging the HTC HD2 early tomorrow.

That means the Windows-packing phone, which scooped four stars in our review and wowed us with its slick smartphone abilities, is at last within reach after months of hype. Stay tuned for the official announcement from Vodafone, due in less than 24 hours.

    I’m holding off. No matter what HTC says to keep Microsoft happy, some form of Android equivalent is inevitable. And that will be godlike – the HD2 has completely won me over to big (4-inch plus) screens.

    I’ve managed to get o2 to tell me they’ll kindly let me have this on upgrade for only £50. I don’t think so if i can get it free from vodafone. I have always had the o2 xda range but now its not exclusively theirs. Payback time!

      Check how long both contracts are though – one might be 24 and the other 18, and you should always go with shorter where possible!

    According to vodafone the HTC HD2 will not be released until monday at the earliest :-(

    I’ve just spoke to Vodafone, initially advisor was not aware of the handset launch on their consumer tariffs (opposed to their business offering). He then queried it with his team leader who came back with the response it would be available December. Anyone hear anything different from them? I really want this amazing handset!!!

    Hey AlBean, my man in the know says it’ll be on sale today. Not sure of the timings, but not surprised the adviser wouldn’t confirm it until the second it’s on the store. Hold tight, and keep an eye on the store is the best course of action I reckon!

    Spoke to vodafone again today and the phone is still not in stock to send out to customers! So Monday delivery would be correct as to my previous post of being out on monday for which apparently this was a misunderstanding between the adviser and I…..more like adviser knows nothing on what he was talking about!

    Vodafone are a disgrace! They apparently sell the HD2 from Thursday but they still have no stock today despite making my order on Thursday! Electricpig might be correct when they say that vodafone will be selling it first but the insider knowledge should have also informed us that they won’t have stock until your so fed up of waiting that you decide to cancel the order!

    Just had a call from Vodafone. They’re aware of the demand for the HD2, but initial stock has already sold out. Apparently they’ve “gone like hotcakes!” There’ll be more stock coming to the Vodafone store in mid-December. I’ll keep you guys posted if I hear anything more.
