Sky-Mobile-iPhone-1

It’s only just finished launching Sky TV on the Xbox, now Sky Mobile TV has launched on the iPhone! Grab it through the App Store, tap in your Sky ID and it’ll let you watch live shows via Wi-Fi, including all the Sky Sports channels.

Sky’s offering Sky Mobile iPhone customers every Sky Sports channel, Sky Sports News, Sky News, ESPN and At The Races. The service will set you back £6 a month, but you’ll be able to catch every televised Barclays Premier League, Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League and Coca Cola Football League games.

That’s on top of international and domestic cricket, PGA European Tour Golf, Guinness Premiership Rugby and tons of other sports.

The Sky Mobile TV iPhone app also lets you browse the Sky EPG for free, and see what’s on in the next 24 hours, although you’ll need to shell out £6 a month and nab yourself a Sky Customer ID before tuning in to live broadcasts.

Of course, there are other ways to get Sky on your mobile too. If you already have a set-top box at home you could use a Slingbox and Slingplayer software to ferry live pictures to the iPhone.

Out now | £6 per month | Sky (Available in the iTunes App Store)

I’m using this at the moment to watch a replay of (cheating Scousers) Liverpool draw with Birmingham on ESPN. The quality is great. For some reason Sky Sports 1, 2 or 3 isn’t working at the moment, while Sky News, Sky Sports News and ESPN are. I assume it’s just teething problems. Seems quite good for the money.
