The Klipsch iGroove’s a popular bit of kit, and now there’s a new version to stick on your slightly-too-early Christmas list. The iGroove SXT has been tweaked to hold all the newest iPods, as well as the iPhone 3G S.
Inside the iGroove SXT are stereo speakers and twin 2.5-inch woofers in a ported enclosure. They’re paired with dual 19mm horn-loaded tweeters, with a bi-amplification feature to boost each driver individually.
The system’s designed to reduce distortion and significantly improve the audio output. As well as working with any iPod, the new iGroove SXT has Apple’s “Works with iPhone” certification, meaning it’s shielded from the usual pop-pop-pop noise, created by phone radiation.
There’s an auxiliary input at the back of the iGroove SXT too, and an S-video output to show videos from a docked iPod or iPhone on a TV.
Even the charging abilities of the iGroove SXT have been beefed up, with a rapid charge circuit built in to quickly juice up Apple devices. Klipsch says it’s the first device on the market with this feature.

The rapid charge feature is a definite plus for this already popular speaker, especially iPhone and Touch users who need to charge more regularly.
