Thinking about picking up Modern Warfare 2 tomorrow? The eagerly awaited game caused controversy when its £55 RRP was revealed earlier in the year, but before you hit the pre-order button, know this: one supermarket is selling it for less than half that. Want to know which? Read on.
Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox 360 and PS3 is selling for around £45 on most of the major online stores, but the supermakets have kicked off a price war for those who held off on reserving a copy. ASDA will sell the shooter for £32, while Tesco will flog it for £25 with another game, but Sainsburys has the best deal, at just £26.
Modern Warfare 2 sparks MP outrage
That’s less than 50 percent of the staggering £55 RRP slapped on Modern Warfare 2, and an enormous saving on the most anticipated game this year. Modern Warfare 2 is on sale tomorrow, but we’ve seen reports of stockists selling early, so if you’re passing by a store tonight, it might well be worth a look.
