My G4 Mac 10.5.8 constantly crashes using Vodaphone mobile dongle payg. If I use the Nac with wifi only it seems fine. If I use the Mac for wotk. Photosop, Illustrator etc its fine. when the dongle is active while running other prohrammes the Mac crashes. sometimes after a few minutes, somtimes hours, but it crashes three or 4 times a day. I have 2 gigs of ram. anybody with any ideas it is very frustrating and time consuming

Thanks

Hi Martian - we do show the published date of a story right next to the author byline and just below the headline. Is it not showing? What browser are you using?

Cheers!
Ben

What is the date this article was written? Technology changes quickly so it is always helpful when posting reviews or articles to include the published date next to the byline. The website's date is posted above yet this article could be a year old...meaning the information is already obsolete.

Thank goodness, I am not the only person out there experiencing this problem. I notice this was posted way back in November 09. I am writing this on July 7th 2010 and I am trying to use my T Mobile Web n' Walk stick III on my lovely new Mac 17 inch laptop. And nothing! I get a message saying Autoopen failed to open! I have downloaded T Mobiles' 'Mac.rar' file which it said was for Snow Leopard and tried to follow the instructions for sorting it manually. I can get no joy from T Mobile. Seeing as it is nearly 8 months since you article was posted I am sure I am being my usual Newbie Ludite self and doing something wrong. !!!! Someone Help!!!

James, whilst searching the web - i came across this page. Tried the above orange link and it worked first time. I did delete the app that I had already installed from the usb dongle first however. Then reboot, then used the ornage link. No probs

Indeed the Huawei driver ("Wireless Broadband") is poor quality. It does work, but on my 1.7GHz Powerbook G4, running 10.5.8, it takes a consistent 20% cpu at all times. This is ludicrous.
