Pocket Tunes RadioiPhone owners, are you jealous of the iPod nano’s ability to record FM radio? Fret no more: the latest update to the Pocket Tunes Radio iPhone app brings the ability to record internet radio.

Version 5.4 of the Pocket Tunes Radio iPhone app adds the ability to record any of the 16,000+ stations you can catch on it, and keep them for a later date, so you can keep your favourite show, then scrub through the ads when you’re on the train or out of reception.

The Pocket Tunes Radio iPhone app already throws in clever tricks like iTunes look up for songs, and a web browser inside the app to get around some of the multitasking issues on the iPhone, but it’s good to see it now making use of the 8-32GB of storage available on the device.

You can find the latest version of the Pocket Tunes Radio iPhone and iPod touch app on the App Store right now for £3.99.
