Gadgetshop’s latest gizmo is a Mobile Phone Watch, which does almost everything the LG Watch Phone can, as well as a few extra tricks. And it costs less than half the price!
Last year was all about the MP4 Watch on the stocking filler online sites, but the Mobile Phone Watch beats it to a pulp by throwing in a GSM SIM card slot to make calls, Bluetooth connectivity, a touchscreen, a digital camera, picture playback and even some basic games.
The bets bit though? The Mobile Phone Watch costs £219.99, less than half the price of the £500 LG Watch Phone. Granted, you won’t grab quite the same gadget kudos wearing it, and there’s no 3G, but are you really going to say no to a spare £280 in your pocket?
