HTC HD2 unboxed!

Phwoar. The HTC HD2 still hasn’t gone on sale on yet here in the UK, but we’ve just blagged one to call our own. It’s fallen through the doorstep this very afternoon, so we’ve whipped it out to play with the Windows Mobile powerhouse once more. Is it the best WinMo mobile ever made? It might just be – see for yourself in our gallery.

Our affections for the HTC HD2 have in no way dimmed since we played with it earlier in the month: at 4.3 inches, the screen is a glossy, lavish display the likes of which we’ve never seen on a handset before. It’s got HTC’s Sense skin previously reserved for Android phones, pulling in Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and more, and because the screen is capacitive, typing is easy. Bid goodbye to the stylus.

HTC HD2 hands-on photo overload!

We’re off to put the HTC HD2 fully through its paces, but in the meantime have a look at the slate coming out of its carton right here, and stay tuned for a full HTC HD2 review. Trust us when we say it’s everything the Toshiba TG01 should have been, and more.

from the first photo, it would appear WinMo IE still can’t render webpages properly! Look at where the menu tabs are.
