Command & Conquer Red Alert has just launched on the iPhone app store. If you ever wanted to stick it to the Soviets with a swipe of your finger, now you can. Retro gamers, advance!
Command & Conquer Red Alert is available now on the App Store for the iPhone and iPod touch for £5.99, offering up tasty isometric graphics, pinch zooming to swoop in on units and twelve levels of combat.
As with the original, you can play as Allied or Russian forces in Command & Conquer Red Alert for iPhone, and it’s only going to get better over time: you’ll soon be able to get free multiplayer over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth with an update, as well as a new expansion pack, throwing in a third faction, plus new units for the existing ones.

Command & Conquer Red Alert isn’t the first 90s PC game to make it on to the iPhone App Store of course: as well as Doom finally debuting this week, Secret of Monkey Island is also available.
