The epic HTC HD2 is set to bring Windows Mobile back up to pace with rival smartphone platforms thanks to its gorgeous, responsive screen, HTC Sense social networking skin and multitouch skills, and now we know how much it’ll set you back when it lands on O2. We’ve got the tariffs and the number crunching stats for you right here.
Mobiles.co.uk, the sidearm of The Carphone Warehouse, has slapped up the tasty HTC HD2 for pre-order with a variety of contracts costs and lengths. On 18-month terms, you can pick up the HTC HD2 with a 600 minute, £35 a month package for £79.99, or 200 minutes for £25 each page of the calendar, and £184.98 upfront.
If you’re prepared to go in for the long haul and sign up for two years, you can get the HTC HD2 for free on £40 a month, along with a free gift, or nine months half price. Our pick of the longer deals though is 600 minutes for £30 a month, with a £40 upfront cost for the handset.
O2’s original plan to launch the HTC HD2 last week has fallen through – we’ve been told it’s still in testing – but we’ll shout up once it gets that all important network thumbs up and launch time stamp.
