A glut of news from the BlackBerry camp broke out yesterday, for better and worse: the first Bold 9700 review hit the interwebs, while Stephen Fry delivered his verdict on the sequel to the Storm he slated so hard. Speaking of the BlackBerry Storm, we also learned that the BlackBerry OS 5.0 update won’t be arriving for UK users until next year.

In computing meanwhile, rumour broke out about the name of the Apple tablet, Dell launched a new ultra portable laptop line, while Nokia could be working on a follow-up to the Booklet 3G netbook already, and Microsoft’s first store opened – with a healthy dose of déjà vu.

In gaming, we got a first glimpse of the Euro PlayStation video store, while a GoldenEye remake could be headed to the Wii, and Rockstar is offering you the chance to appear in Red Dead Redemption.

Finally, we reviewed Hot Fuzz, out on Blu-ray at last, so be sure to see if it’s a film worth firing up the PS3 for!
