Orange will start flogging the iPhone here in the UK on 10 November. That’s just a day after O2′s exclusive deal with Apple expires, although the colourful network is yet to tell anyone exactly how much the world’s most sought after phone will cost.
Word of the Orange iPhone’s 10 November release date comes from The Guardian. The paper has heard that Orange will start selling the phone in two weeks, both through its own stores and Carphone Warehouse.
Official: iPhone coming to Orange UK this year
Orange hasn’t just picked the date to coincide with the end of O2′s deal. It’s also the same day Vodafone outs its financial results, so Orange will be hoping its other iPhone rival will be fairing poorly in the money stakes.
The move comes just days after 3 said it was keen to lay its hands on the iPhone and that it’d be selling it at some point in 2010.
