Apple is working on a new MacBook Pro to follow the all-new MacBook and iMac. That’s according to support files buried in the latest build of Snow Leopard, which show two new versions of the high end lappie. So what exactly will these new top notch machines pack in?
Well, it’s likely that any new MacBook Pro will come rocking the latest Intel processor, Core i7. This super-speedy fella is currently doing its thing in the specced up versions of the new iMac, unleashed under a week ago.
The new MacBook Pros were spotted by an eagle-eyed dev, who saw mentions of MacBook Pro 6_1 and MacBook Pro 6_2 in Snow Leopard 10.6.2, which is being tinkered with at the moment ahead of release.
Other than the internal refresh, the design of the new MacBook Pro is unlikely to change from the one you can nab now at your local Apple emporium. Word is the new workaholic-friendly notebooks will be out in the New Year.
