The Motorola Droid, Moto’s stonking sequel to the DEXT Android phone, just made an early appearance on the telco company’s official site, with all the specs and details in tow. Want to know what it’s packing? We’ve got the answers here.
Boy Genius Report already has a Motorola Droid of its own to put through its paces ahead of its US launch, but Motorola just gave the game away itself by posting the Android 2.0 phone up on its own site for a few hours.
Motorola Droid: first details leaked
The Motorola Droid is shaping up to be one beast of a blower: there’s a 5MP camera and slide out QWERTY keyboard and a monstrous 3.7-inch screen, plus GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a very generous 16GB microSD card bundled with it.
There’s still no word on when the Motorola Droid will launch, or whether it’s destined for a release on this side of the pond too, but it’s good to see Motorola getting back on to its feet, just like Palm. Would you ditch your iPhone for one?
