BelkinBelkin is recalling a trio of its TuneBase iPod accessories due to a potential fire risk. Have you picked up a TuneBase bit of car kit since April this year? Here’s what you need to do.

Belkin says it’s found a fire risk caused by a washer that could trigger a short circuit in TuneBase Direct with Hands-Free, TuneBase FM with Hands-Free and TuneBase FM with ClearScan devices sold after 1 April this year. There have been no reports of accidents, but Belkin says that prolonged use in certain conditions could pose a risk, so is recalling and exchanging them.
