We’re used to seeing digital photo frames that double up as music players or Facebook portals, but the Sony S-Frame DPP-F700 does things a little differently. As well as chucking all your holiday snap shenanigans onto its 7-inch screen, it prints them off too to shove in a real album.
The Sony S-Frame DPP-F700 digital photo frame’s gone the Polaroid route and stuck in a printer that’ll reel off a 300dpi 4×6-inch photo in 45 seconds to preserve for posterity for you. You’ll still find a WVGA display on top for slideshow viewing, but the screen can be used for on the fly editing with the Sony S-Frame DPP-F700 too, letting you crop and adjust shots before beaming them onto paper.

The Sony S-Frame DPP-F700 will also playback galleries from an SD card, Compact Flash, xD card or Sony formats and the whole affair arrives Stateside in the new year for $200 (£120). Sony UK says there are no imminent plans to release the Sony S-Frame DPP-F700 over here, but we’ll let you know if that changes.
