The Nokia N900 has been delayed until November. That’s the official word from inside Espoo, after it loaned developers 300 devices for testing at the recent Maemo Summit.
Nokia’s Peter Schneider, who looks after Maemo Marketing for the mobile maven, told the chaps at N900blog that the device was still being played with by devs. He said that, “This feedback is extremely important to us and as such we also want to provide the best user experience with the Nokia N900.”

He then delivered the sucker punch, saying, ” We expect it to start shipping during November 2009.” That’s a full month after the Nokia N900 was supposed to hit shelves, having been initially slated to drop this month.
The Nokia N900 is being billed as the Finns’ hottest phone, taking pride of place alongside the already aging N97. Here’s hoping it’ll be early November before we see this bad boy in action.
