RIM played its trump card in the smartphone battle in the run up to Christmas today, the Blackberry Bold 9700. We’re in love with the QWERTY’s slim size and solid keyboard, but if the hands-on photos and official video haven’t swayed you just yet, we’ve got some hands-on video right here for you too!

Vodafone is set to offer it free on a two year, £35 a month contract with BlackBerry push email with unlimited data and texts. We’ve got a feeling other networks will be coming out of the woodwork soon though, as they did with the Curve 8900, so watch out for more pricing info shortly.
