Apple Magic Mouse

We’ve just had some hang time with the new Apple Magic Mouse. The multitouch marvel was unleashed yesterday, with Cupertino claiming it’s going to revolutionise how you scoot around the screen.

At first it takes a while to get used to the multitouch swiping of the Magic Mouse. But give it five minutes and you’ll soon be zippung around docs, flicking through web pages with double swipes and doing 360 swirls to rotate snaps.

Apple says it won’t support more than two fingers, purely because space is at such a premium. We didn’t find that to be an issue, but stay tuned for our full review where we’ll give you our definitive verdict on the Magic Mouse.

    It looks a bit low for my liking, but I like where Apple is going with it at least, and there’s no horrible nipple this time.

    £55 for a mouse is a lot, not to mention my Macbook Pro already has a multi-touch trackpad. Is it revolutionary though? It’s still just a mouse after all!
