mw-2-2Modern Warfare 2 has been slapped with an 18 rating by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), making it the first Call of Duty game to receive the most stringent certificate in Blighty. So what does that mean for the most anticipated game of 2009?

Well, if you’re under 18, it means you’re bang out of luck. But for those lucky enough to be of legal age, the BBFC has ensured Modern Warfare 2 will be sold uncut, allowing you to indulge in some of the most brutal battles we’ve ever seen on a console.

Modern Warfare 2: two DLC packs readied

You can expect to see plenty of Modern Warfare 2 in the run up to its 10 November release, as Activision pulls out all the stops in order to get it into as many consoles as possible. The game itself has been given a huge, controversial £55 price tag. Those who want the night vision goggles bundled with its special edition will have to stump up even more.

Meh, not getting it. Never liked COD, there are much better games of this genre out there. Killzone2 for example beats it in every respect. All that happens here, is Xbox owners have little else to look forward to, so they flock to it, then PS3 owners do too, as they don’t want to feel left out.

Too many gamers can’t think for themselves, and just buy what their mates buy regardless of if it’s good or not.

I don’t doubt MW2 will sell bucketloads, but it does not automatically make it a good game.

Stew your a loser. you probably play MMOs all day. COD has great cinematic sequences, as well as an addictive multiplayer. You just suck at the game.

  2. Donkey ballls says:

The guy above me is just a hater and a retard. COD4 was one of the best and most immersive cinematic shooters OF ALL TIME, and Modern Warfare 2 will be no different if not ten times better. So take the stick out you butthole and buy the game when it comes out.

no way tbh bioshock 2 looks like itll b gettin my money look at the first one a compare it with cod4 all people care about is online the campaign on cod4 is shocking and cod5 im not even going there stewart is right everyone buys wat theyre mates buy tbh id rather sit down with abes oddysee than play something thats clearly overpriced and overhyped bioshock 2 will beat this by far
