Right on time, the Jabra Stone Bluetooth headset has debuted in public, and we’ve got one of our very own to test out. See this quirky earpiece come out of its tube right here in our unboxathon!
Just as Jabra promised us last month, the Jabra Stone is a new type of wireless natterer: the tiny earpiece comes tucked inside its own pebble shaped charging unit, which carries 6 hours of juice, so you can recharge the critter on the move.
Jabra Stone: headset overhaul incoming!
The Jabra Stone is absolutely tiny, though we’re loving the lack of an arm swooping across your face to reach your gob the most, and the curving shell is touch sensitive: just tap it to take and end calls, and swipe up and down to adjust volume.
That tiny size does come with a drawback mind: the Jabra Stone will only carry 2 hours of talk time charge in one go, so for super long conference calls you’ll be switching back to the old dog and bone, but that’s the price you pay for looking the coolest in the boardroom.
