CrackBerry has dug up what it says are the first renders of the BlackBerry Bluetooth watch we heard rumours about over the Summer. The BlackBerry Bluetooth watch hasn’t been designed by RIM (hence the lack of logo), and isn’t BlackBerry branded. Instead it’s been made by a BlackBerry accessory company, and is believed to be called the inPulse.

Specs-wise, we’re told the BlackBerry Bluetooth watch will pack on OLED screen designed for throwing up easy to read text, and it should give you alerts and snippets of messages so you’re not always unlocking your phone and opening the inbox just to find another urgent plea from a Nigerian banker.

The BlackBerry Bluetooth watch is an interesting idea, even if it has been done before, purely because Blackberry addicts are far more email hungry than their Sony Ericsson counterparts. CrackBerry even goes so far as to speculate that the maker would release an API at some point, letting you pull down BlackBerry Bluetooth watch apps from the web. If you want a full on phone where your Casio should be though, you’ll still want to plump for the LG Watch Phone.
