Remember the black Nintendo Wii we got all green eyed over when it was launched in Japan in the Summer? There’s no need for jealousy any longer, as the dark console is headed to our country too, along with some polished black controllers too!
The black Nintendo Wii will launch in a bundle with Wii MotionPlus and Wii Sports Resort from 6 November in the UK and Ireland, with folks on the continent getting the new shade two weeks later.

If you’ve already picked up Ninty’s motion control console, you can still get in on the new colour with black Wii remotes, nunchuks, MotionPlus bolts on and Classic controllers hitting shelves on the 20 November too.
There’s no word on the blue and pink Wii kit launching soon in Japan, but we’re hoping Ninty will soon lavish us with the whole spectrum shortly.
