At last, the plastic MacBook has been given an overhaul. The new machine rocks a unibody design, just like its older metal MacBook Pro cousins. There’s also a new faster processor, a beefier hard drive and boosted graphics too.
Punters after a new MacBook will need to stump up £799 for the rejigged machine. For that you get a far sleeker machine than the original. Inside there’s a plentiful 250GB HDD, 2GB of RAM, NVIDIA graphics and a 2.26 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo.

The glass trackpad found on the MacBook Pro is on the new MacBook too, with a backlit keyboard tacked on for good measure. However, that unibody design does mean the battery is built in, a shame if you want to swap it out yourself. Apple says a new one will cost you £99 in store.
The good news though is that the new MacBook is out now, with Wi–Fi, two USB ports and N standard Wi–Fi inside. Best get yourself down your local Apple Store sharpish.
