EP-suggestion-box-400We’re constantly striving to make Electricpig the best gadget site in the world, and we love it when people give us new ideas and features to try out. That’s why we’ve opened the Electricpig suggestion box!

We’re not looking for secretive notes either. We want an open discussion on what you’d like to see on Electricpig over the coming months.

Just jot down your thoughts in the comments section below, make sure to use a valid name and e-mail address, so we can credit you for the idea, and let your imagination run wild! Tell us what you want, and we’ll do our best to make it happen!

I want a comparison – like when a new iPod comes out, I wanna know whether it’s better than other MP3 players and fones. Like, side by side.

  • Garth

A top 10 list for each gadget category (camera, TV, MP3 player etc) – and being able to sort/filter by price or score or manufacturer.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Trust us when we say we’re taking it all on board and working out what we can do to make the site better for you.

  • Calvo

    More videos! More Cowbell!

      Excellent!

  • http://agileweb.org Rozza

I would like the chance to win some of these gadgets you keep tempting us with!

More competitions eh? We’ll see what we can rustle up, thanks for letting us know!

Your wish is our command. Stay tuned for a new competition in the next couple of days. Huzzah, and good luck!

One more – I really like your lunchtime digest – any chance of a daily digest of the best of the day as well?

    • http://www.electricpig.co.uk Ben Sillis

Thanks Rozza – we actually do a roundup in the morning as well at 9am, but we’ll take that onboard and see what we can do!

Here’s a suggestion on what to KEEP. Right now, your website works pretty good without requiring javascript. Don’t ever change that. Your most sophisticated users are the ones who will disable javascript in order to protect their systems from its ongoing set of security problems. Making sure your website is still functional without relying on javascript puts you head and shoulders over all those other sites with marginal webdevs who use javascript as an unnecessary crutch.

    • TimJBart

I think disabling javascript for all web browsing is a bit heavy handed. Just use a secure browser and common sense

Easier said than done with the BlackBerry browser, I can tell you from first hand experience! We’ll take that on board though rest assured :)

Thanks! We’ll pass that on – praise for what we’re doing right as well as advice on what could be improved is always welcome.
