The Mintpass Mintpad titchy internet tablet has only just gone on sale in the UK, but a slip-up on Mintpass’s site hints at at least one bigger follow up slate on the horizon. Will it run Android?
The Windows CE toting Mintpad tablet could soon be getting a sequel if the listing for two mystery devices, the Mintpad 7wise and Mintpad WSketch, on Mintpass’s South Korean website are to be believed. Mintpass has hinted before at a 7-inch display and GPS in a Mintpad before, so the first name would suggest the company is leaning that way. But a Mintpad WSketch? Are we looking at a Wacom style doodling display?
Mintpass Mintpad lands in the UK!
Pocketables has been in touch with Mintpass HQ and was told that “something like those are in the process of developing”, so it looks like a new Mintpad of some form is on the way. We’re hoping it’ll run Android, as the company has hinted before it could switch to Google’s OS. We’ll shout up once the full details are official, and be sure to keep an eye out for a UK launch for you.
