iphone-3gsApple has reportedly brought an end to jailbreaking the iPhone 3GS, with new models said to be immune to the efforts of crafty hackers. So what does that mean if you were hoping to grab a spanking new iPhone and open it up illegally?

Well, from now on, jailbreaking an iPhone 3GS is going to be a lot tougher. Word is that new models, which started shipping last week, cannot be opened up using the exploit favoured by the likes of the Dev–Team.

Known as 24kpwn, it can no longer crack the iPhone 3GS, meaning punters who want to jailbreak are going to be left high and dry. That said, with the iPhone hitting new networks here in the UK and the App Store offering everything you could possible want, it seems foolhardy to jailbreak your iPhone and invalidate the warranty now.

    I’ll give it 2 weeks before it’s cracked! , Whenever a manufacturer says something is uncrackable then it’s normally hacked not long after.
