We’ve just confirmed with Acer that the Acer Aspire One Android netbook will be going on sale here from 22 October. That’s Windows 7 launch day, and since the Acer Aspire One Android netbook runs Microsoft’s new OS as well, it couldn’t get it out the door any earlier.

As for pricing? The Acer Aspire One Android netbook with Windows XP will cost £279, but for £20 extra you can get a dual boot version with Windows 7 Starter instead.
Acer also confirmed the UK launch date for the Acer Liquid Android smartphone: 28 November. Networks are still unknown, but if you want that hi-res WVGA display with Google’s mobile OS, there’s just six weeks to wait.
