What’s the point of the large resolution screen if the icons, widgets and menus are just scaled to fit. I would have expected there to be more use of the screen rather than just bigger icons.

Agreed Bob. I wasn’t blown over by the screen like I was Samsung’s WVGA efforts, and half of that is the software like you say. Think what HTC would do with all that extra space: two Sense profiles next to each other, perhaps, or Facebook and Twitter streams side by side.

Windows mobile devices done exactly the same thing. But there’s a third party mod to sort that out. It will probably happen too for the Android platform
