photoshopFlash might not play nice on the iPhone, but that hasn’t stopped Adobe beavering away and unveiling a slick new Photoshop iPhone app. The new add-on is aimed at making your Apple-based snaps look tastier and should cheer up those unhappy with the paltry three megapixel camera. Keep reading for all the details.

The new Photoshop iPhone app looks ace. It’s a freebie but crams in enough features to keep even the most demanding of photographers busy. That means as well as basic cropping and rotating skills, it can also do filters, saturation and vibrancy tweaking.

But tickling your low res holiday snaps isn’t the only thing the Photoshop iPhone app can do. Adobe has slung in 2GB of online storage at Photoshop.com, enough room for about 1,500 images.

At the moment, the Photoshop iPhone app is only up for grabs in the US and Canada. We’re chasing Adobe now for details on a UK release.

    Brilliant move, especially when you consider how popular the iPhone is on Flickr. I’d like to see this on phones with better cameras too, but I suspect the demand isn’t there for them yet.

      It looks neat, but I’m surprised at how basic some of the functions are. There are iPhone image editors that’re way more advanced than this. I mean, really? Pre-set filters and a bit of cropping and rotation? Hardly deserves the Photoshop name in my opinion.

    It’s a good software ( not great ) offering basic functionality to touchup photos before you post them or on the go , even supports photoshop.com uploading . One this which I would like to have is entry of Text over photos .
