Forget that shonky old spy shot of the Samsung i5700 Galaxy Lite. Because official images of the low fat Android phone have hit the web and thrown up a few surprises too. Want the complete picture on the latest budget Google phone? Keep reading and we’ll serve up all the details.
The Samsung i5700 Galaxy Lite has been known about in tech circles for over a month. But these new pics, straight from Samsung, show that it’ll come packing basic Android rather than Samsung’s Touchwiz UI.
On top of that, reports are also surfacing suggesting the name will change from Galaxy Lite to i5700 Galaxy Spica. Seeing as the storage, down to 1GB and the camera, at 3.2 megapixels, appear to be the only pared down features, that’s not a surprise.
Samsung is expected to officially unleash the i5700 Galaxy Lite later this month. It’ll need to hit shelves stat, especially as the T–Mobile Pulse and HTC Tattoo are already it there doing their cheap Android thing.
