The Nokia Booklet 3G, Espoo’s first bash at a netbook, has been priced and dated with a 3G mobile broadband subscription for the first time. Want to know where and when it touches down first? Read on.
Nokia Conversations reports that the Nokia Booklet 3G will be available through O2 in germany from 22 October, for €249 (£230) up front, with a monthly tariff totalling €20 (£18) a month over two years, which sounds more than reasonable to us, though it’s not clear what the Fair Use limit will be yet.
Secrets of the Nokia Booklet 3G
Nokia UK wouldn’t comment on availability for the Nokia Booklet 3G, and O2 was not available for comment, but that date, 22 October is significant. It’s launch day for Windows 7, which the Nokia Booklet 3G runs, so it looks like the Finns are pushing it out as quick as they can.
Nokia Conversations says it’ll be revealing prices for more countries as and when, so expect word of a launch in this green and pleasant land imminently.

€249 is £230 where have you been for the past few years!
Good spot, currency conversion amended. Cursed Euro strength! That’s still fairly reasonable considering that’s the original price of the first Eee PC, plus around the same sum as you’d pay for iPhone tethering every month. We’ll let you know UK pricing as soon as it’s official.
