At last, the Sony Ericsson Satio is about to land on mobile–friendly shelves. But before you slap down your readies, make sure you take a look at this new hands–on video, showing the 12MP monster in action.

Mobile–mad gadget fans will know the Sony Ericsson Satio was first unveiled as the Idou back in February at Mobile World Congress. The 12MP snapper phone has been beaten to the high street by its rival the Samsung Pixon12. But no matter, it still looks a peach.

This new clip shows the slick touchscreen in action, the clever UI which builds on the basic S60 and uses the familiar Sony XMB interface, plus its sleek, camera–like frame.

    Very nice video about the Sony Ericsson Satio. It really looks great with this shiny screen. The google maps seems to work great. Although I did hear that you cannot install a newer version of Google Maps the same holds for the build in Youtube app. Still the Satio seems to be fast and very good looking!
