The Nokia N97 Mini is hitting UK shelves on 23 October. Not a scurrilous rumour from retailers, but official word from Nokia, via Twitter. So how much will the slimmed down flagship phone cost? And is it worth it? Read on for all the details.
Nokia’s new Flagship Store Twitter feed burst onto the social networking site last night, simply announcing, ” Flagship News: N97 Mini to be sold in store from 23 October.”
The in store remark refers to Nokia’s swanky Regent Street shop in central London. That means the Nokia N97 Mini is likely to get going elsewhere in the days after 23 October.
So how much will it cost? Nokia is listing the price SIM-free as £429, but Vodafone is keeping schtum, simply listing a page where you can register your interest.
For those with phone overload, the Nokia N97 Mini is the pared down version of the best-selling N97, packing a smaller 3.2-inch touchscreen, a QWERTY board, 5 MP camera and 8GB rather than 32GB of storage.
