The 55-inch Toshiba CELL REGZA LCD TV has been fleshed out by the Tosh with some stunning kit: as well as an LED backlit 240Hz panel with a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, there’s a 3TB hard drive, with 2TB of that cordoned off for simultaneous recording of up to 26 hours of TV across 8 different channels.

There’s all sorts of connectivity going on behind the scenes with the Toshiba CELL REGZA TV too, including DNLA and an Opera browser for web surfing, while the chunky accompanying set top box houses enough power to show eight different video windows at the same time.
The whole Toshiba CELL REGZA TV setup is wrapped up in a “smoked” aluminium case, and there’s even a seven speaker soundbar sitting pretty underneath the screen.
