The Sony Ericsson Jalou fashionista phone strutted up to our front porch just now for a first hands-on, and it’s the yin to the T715′s stuffy yang: a quirky, sparkly clamshell that isn’t afraid to do things a little differently. Does it do them well though? Read on and find out in our unboxing photo gallery!
We have to admit, we were a bit harsh on the 3G Sony Ericsson Jalou back when we first spied it, but now that it’s sitting pretty in our own mitts, we’re much more smitten. The purple fold out phone is a shiny, oddball affair that’s absolutely tiny, so will slot inside even the smallest handbag (or manbag). We’re not going to pretend those tiny buttons will be easy to text with whilst wearing fake nails, but at least you’ll look cool trying.
Sony Ericsson Jalou struts down the catwalk
The Sony Ericsson Jalou is still very much in Sony Ericsson dumbphone territory still though so if you’re holding on for anything more than looks you might want to wait it out for the Xperia X2 or even X3. Have a look at our unboxing gallery right now though and stay tuned for a full review of the Sony Ericsson Jalou shortly.
