Kooky camera stand maker Joby has just revealed the Joby iPhone tripod, which will let you strap on your iPhone and keep it in perfect balance while attached to almost any object. So long shaky photos and video!
The Joby iPhone tripod, or Gorillamobile to give it its full name, is similar to its Goriilapods for camera: there are three bendy legs you can stand on a table or wrap around poles. The twist is, the Joby iPhone tripod also comes with an iPhone 3G/3GS compatible case, so your Apple blower will slot straight in.

Considering that the iPhone is now the most popular camera on Flickr, it’s a smart move, and one that will not only improve those 3MP stills, but video on the iPhone 3GS too. Not only that, but anyone who opted for CoPilot Live on the iPhone rather than TomTom now has an easy way to rig up their mobile for PND purposes.
The Joby iPhpne tripod is on sale now, but any iPod touch owners bear in mind that your PMP is a bit thinner than an iPhone, and won’t fit in the Joby Gorillamobile iPhone tripod. But then, what use would it be doing that without a camera anyway, hmm?
