Twitter is set to launch a new Tweetdeck-inspired feature called Lists. It’ll allow you to group people you follow and share those lists with other Twitterers.
Though you’ll be able to make the lists you create private, they’ll be public by default. Seesmic and Tweetdeck already allow you to group people you follow but integrating this in to Twitter will be a really useful tool.
Lists will let you follow the whole lists of Twitterers with one click, meaning it’ll be simple to follow all the members of your favourite band or catch up with tweets from everyone working on a particular project.
Lists are currently being beta tested but the feature is set to hit the Twitter API shortly, so expect to see all your favourite Twitter apps adding them shortly.
