It’s been a long wait for the Sony PSPgo since it was first unveiled back in June, but for all you would be Nintendo DSi defectors, a gentle reminder: the Sony PSPgo is out today! Read on for a look back at all our coverage, plus what lies ahead.
It’s been a rocky road since E3, but the Sony PSPgo is now on sale in the UK (Amazon pre-orderers, you’ll be waiting until tomorrow for delivery unfortunately), hovering between the £200 and £225 depending on where you look.
Regardless of the pollava ditching UMD has caused, and even just how fun it is to play, the Sony PSPgo is a landmark in handheld gaming, and will surely act as a litmus test for competitors (Nintendo, maybe Microsoft) to see how both gamers and retailers react to full, download only games.
Only time will tell how and if the Sony PSPgo reshapes the industry, as well as the gaming gadget you keep in your pocket, but we’ll let you know how it plays in our full Sony PSPgo review, so stay tuned, and in the meantime, have a browse back through all our stories here.
