Got a funny feeling you’ve forgotten something? If you’ve got a Freeview box nestled next to your TV, you need to retune it today. Do it and you’ll get extra channels and be ready for Freeview HD.
Upgrading your Freeview box is super-simple. You just need to rescan for new channels. If you don’t already have Five, you’ll probably get it today as well as a new Disney-owned channel called Quest.
The big reason for this update though is getting ready for more HD channels from big players including ITV and the BBC by the end of the year.
And in Columbo style, there’s just one more thing. The big retune will kill off some boxes namely the Daewoo DS608P, Labgear DTT100, Portland DP100, Daewoo SV900 and Bush IDVCR01.
