I suspect it may not have much impact at first: Orange and Voda already know there’s enough people on their networks waiting to upgrade that they don’t have to. Pity though, as regardless of the cost of the iPhone, O2′s tethering charging is outrageous.

@Poppa They could make their tarrifs better for a start.. Perhaps giving iphone users more than 500 txts.. or making them similar in price to any of their other handset tarrifs

oh that’s a shame… O2 are in their own sweet little world… oblivious to anything that’s happening… a little discount on existing contracts would go a long way in securing loyalty now that the floodgates have opened… wise up O2.

how would there be price cuts unless Apple cuts the price of the iphone.I don’t know much about vodafone but I cancelled my orange contract for the poor network and service and went back to O2.
