Agreed. New look iPhone and iPod touches, plus a touchscreen nano, have got to be on the cards for next Summer.

I get the feeling T Mobile won’t be long after Orange. I’m still gagging for an iPhone and my contract’s about to expire. But, surely the next-gen will be a big redesign. Sign up now and I guarantee you’ll regret it come next summer. Classic tech worry I know, but I’d rather a phone that wasn’t so darn ubiquitous!

I’ve never been a huge fan of Orange – I was with them for a while but switched to O2 a few years back purely to save money. They’ll have to change that to tempt iPhone owners, but there’s one easy win they can make: just charge less for iPhone laptop tethering. Like you know, NOTHING AT ALL. Yes O2, I’m talking to you here.

Orange!!! is that it!!!
What an anti-climax- how about open it up to a few other carriers- Tmobile, Vodaphone etc- O2 and Orange are not the most popular of carriers, so this news is hardly going to create and ‘price wars’ to attract old and new customers to an iPhone tarrif that is comparable to everything else on the market- Blackberry got it right, why is Apple dragging its heels in the UK!?!?!
