Well it took a good 6 months, but the new Asus Eee Top line, sporting HD touchscreens and a new look black and silver paint job, have finally made it to Britain. We’ve got the lowdown on when you can get one and for how much, so keep reading to find out.
In fairness, the new Eee Top ET2002/ET2203 line we saw back at CeBIT in March has stayed away from shop shelves so it can launch with the more finger friendly Windows 7, but it’s still been a long wait.
In case you’ve forgotten about them in that time though, there are two new Asus Eee Top models: the 20-inch Eee Top ET2002, and the beefier, 21.6-inch Eee Top 2203. Both models come with a 16:9 ratio, 1080p proddable display and HDMI-in, while the bigger of the two new Eee Top models even comes with Blu-ray.
As you’d expect with extra high def support, there’s a bit of a price bump: the smaller new Eee Top wil cost £599, while the Blu-ray boasting ET2203 will set you back £819. Both are out on, you guessed it, 22 October, or Windows 7 D-Day.
Out 22 October | £from 599 | Asus

a very nice touch screen, will the new Apple iMac also have touch screen to spoil the Windows7 Party?
