We’ve been in South Africa to see a British team take on a team from Street Football World in the match of their lives: played out on a game reserve near Cape Town, and forming the finale of seven incredible matches around the globe.

The new Handheld Twilight mode is inside Sony’s new Cyber-shot TX1 and WX1 compact cameras, the Alpha A550 DSLR and Handycam CX520V camcorder. It’s a clever system that takes multiple snaps, then blends them together in seconds, cancelling out motion blur, camera wobble and underexposure.

It’ all helped by the new Exmor R sensor, developed by Sony to be up to twice as effective in low light. The results speak for themselves. Taken as the sun was setting, the snaps above are clear, crisp and bright.
