New Wacom Bamboo tabletThe Wacom Bamboo tablet line is back with a bang – and a stylus and multitouch too. Want to get the skinny on all the new slates for doodling on your comp? Read on and we’ll fill you in.

The big news with the slick looking Wacom Bamboo tablet line is the addition of multitouch, letting you navigate and gesture around with two finger prods, as well as write with the stylus.

There are four models in the new Wacom Bamboo tablet line: the Bamboo, Bamboo Fun, Bamboo Pen and Bamboo Touch. The straight up Wacom Bamboo tablet, which works with Windows and Mac OS X, packs both forms of input for £75. The stylus has a clever bit of tech which switches off finger input when you bring it near the tablet, and there’s a bunch of apps (“Minis”) that make use of its scribble skills.

There’s also the Bambo Fun, aimed at budding artists rather than gadget magpies cum procrastinators, and it comes in two sizes for £89.99 and £169.99. Finally there’s the Bamboo Touch (finger input only) and the Bamboo Pen (You guessed, it the stylus goes solo here) for £59.99 and £49.99 respectively.
