asus-mk90According to Asus, the Eee PC MK90 is a dream come true for little Disney princesses. And it’s not just the pink paint job that makes it suitable for small humans – it’s splash and bump proof to boot! Read on to find out if you should be asking Derek in accounts to order you one up.

Colourful livery aside, it’s a fairly bog standard netbook under the hood. It sports a 1024×600 res 8.9in screen and is powered by the usual Intel N270 chip/1GB of memory one-two combo.

The hard drive is a largish 160GB and all the usual ports (VGA, three USB, network, audio) are accounted for. There’s Wi-Fi as you’d expect and a slot for SDHC memory cards.

If Princess Pink isn’t your favoured colour scheme, then it’s also available in Magic Blue. It stretches 248×173x29mm and weighs in at an unlikely to crush a child 1.2Kg.

Out TBC | £299 | Asus
