The Toshiba Qosmio X500 is a brand new gaming laptop the Tosh has just dropped in a bid to steal some of Dell’s thunder. We’ve got all the pics and specs, so read on to see if it’s an Alienware killer.
The Toshiba Qosmio X500 may still sport the same garish red coat as its gaming laptop predecessors, but underneath it’s toting tech to fend off any UFO technology Dell’s priming.
Inside the 18.4-inch, 1080p Toshiba Qosmio X500 you’ll find up to 8GB of RAM, a 1TB HDD, rewritable Blu-ray, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250MNV graphics and the piece de resistance, an Intel Core i7 2.8GHz processor that should jog through even the most power intensive games.
The Toshiba Qosmio X500 also features a webcam that’ll double up for face recognition, with a fingerprint reader for added security.
Don’t expect much in the way of battery life from the Toshiba Qosmio X500, but you’ll be able to pick up this gaming god from late October with the arrival of Windows 7.
