LG BL20 Chocolate The first LG BL20 Chocolate video leaked out on Monday, but now the phone is official, popping up in a cubby hole on LG’s website with all the specs in tow. Read on to see what it’s packing.

The LG BL20 Chocolate is lacking the uber-stretched screen of its BL40 brother, but from the video and early hands-on snaps we’ve seen, it’s still a marked makeover on the current Chocolate handset that’s almost as popular with tweens as Robert Pattinson. And now it’s official too, with all the specs cropping up on LG Mobile’s website.

As well as HSDPA and a 5 megapixel camera, the slide out LG BL20 Chocolate also packs a QVGA 2.4-inch screen, plus your regular standards like Bluetooth, FM radio and a microSD slot.

There’s also a touch responsive soft key nestling just below the screen on the LG BL20 Chocolate, but if you were hoping for GPS, Wi-Fi and a smartphone OS on your budget blower, you might want to hold on for the HTC Tattoo instead.

LG’s not given a release date for the LG BL20 Chocolate just yet, but now that it’s sitting pretty on the South Korean giant’s official hub, we’d say it’s just around the corner.

I have this [hone but am very disappointed so far. Yes, it beautiful, and easy to use in principle, BUT it seems to have a software glitch that LG needs to sort out. My original handset, then the replacement, (in just over two weeks) have crashed on me.The only solution when this happens is to reboot the handset by taking out the battery and starting again. Of course, if you’re working on anything when this occurs, all new data is lost…My retailer wants to give me yet another one but I don’t see why I should suffer until LG sort out their software glitches.
