I have the samsung galaxy i7500 and while I love the Amoled screen the battery drives me insane. It seems crazy that you have to switch from 3G to 2G to save power, what’s the point of having 3G then? Even on 2G I am finding I am very lucky if the battery lasts a day and a half and this is with the phone on and not making any calls or texting!! I even sent it back as I thought the battery was faulty, but alas, the same issue!! Asides from that battery situation ironically I like it….just a pain to have to charge it all the time!

Sadly with top smartphones (Nokia aside) we’ve reached the stage where a day is acceptable. Still, at least you can charge overnight!
